Shade Protocol Snapshots Completed
Greetings Shade community,
Snapshots for the Shade Protocol airdrop have officially concluded. This marks a historic moment as Shade Protocol will be one of the first multi-chain airdrops in Cosmos, made possible with IBC technology!
Snapshots began on November 7th, 2021 at 5:00 pm. UTC +0 snapshots on Secret Network, Cosmos (Atom), and on Terra/Luna. Snapshots finished on December 13th, 2021 at 5:00 pm. UTC +0.
Individuals that delegated during the set of randomly selected snapshots will be included in the Shade Protocol airdrop.
Currently, developers and core contributors are actively finishing the final code review of the Shade Protocol airdrop contract.
A calculator will be released to the Shade Protocol community in advance of the airdrop so users will be able to find out how much airdrop $SHD they have qualified for!

North America Holidays
Core developers and contributors will be taking time off away from the world of blockchain and coding by spending time with family and friends during the North America holidays from December 18th — January 2nd. Thank you for understanding that those who are hard at work with building Shade Protocol are human too, and deserve a break from the craziness that is the world of blockchain!
Upon return from the holidays, final code reviews of the Shade Protocol airdrop contract with be finalized. Once this process is complete, an airdrop date will be released to the larger public. Due to the impact of the holidays on this timeline, the airdrop will be targeting mid-January to the 1st of February 2022, with an extremely high likelihood of falling in this time range. Internally, a crunch could have been made to try to force the airdrop to the start of January. But in this case, patience felt prudent especially when the final steps include internal code review of the airdrop contract.
The core contributors are continuing to improve on timelines that are released and expectations surrounding them. Thank you for being part of the journey!
