Three Ways to Get Funds onto the Shade App
Three ways to get funds onto the Shade App
If you are looking for ways to get your assets moved from a current chain over to the Shade Protocol app, we have three seamless options.
Using a Credit Card or Swapping Tokens on Your Web3 Wallet
For this example we will use Keplr. Open your Keplr extension and either buy crypto through a third party or use your current tokens to swap or you can swap tokens:
Click the Swap Icon at the bottom of the page.
Select the token you hold and swap it for SCRT
Hit Next and confirm the transaction
Go to your Portfolio on the Shade App and confirm you have SCRT
Now you can swap tokens, borrow SILK, and do so much more.
Bridge Assets
Use the Bridge feature to bridge from a chain you currently have assets on app.shadeprotocol.io/bridge such as Ethereum to Secret Network or Noble to Secret Network. Our Bridge page supports multiple chains.
Create a viewing key on ShadeSwap or Portfolio to see your assets
Click Bridge and confirm the transaction
Now you should have USDC (Noble) in your portfolio
Move from a CEX to Shade's DEX
We covered three popular CEX's to move your assets from and onto Shade in this post.
If you're new to our app, check out our #ShadeGuide playlist for additional tutorials to help you get familiar with the Shade app and become a pro user. We have videos that will walk you through all the features step-by-step.
