The Shade team is excited to announce that ShadeSwap, the highly anticipated privacy-preserving DeFi platform, is officially LIVE on the Secret Network mainnet! With its unique privacy protections, user-friendly interface, and robust security measures, ShadeSwap promises to revolutionize the DeFi landscape and provide users with unparalleled opportunities for yield farming, liquidity provision, and decentralized trading.

Swap Interface

On the "Swap" page of the Shade App, users can seamlessly trade 15+ assets from all over the Cosmos. ShadeSwap in particular is focused on supporting stablecoins (IST, USK, SILK, DAI, FRAX, USDC, USDT, CMST) as well as Cosmos staking derivatives. With cheap fees and deep liquidity, users can swap for tokens that protect their token balance and transactions.

Pools Interface

On the "Pools" page, users are empowered to provide liquidity to a variety of pools. Providing liquidity gives user an LP token which can be staked to passively earn rewards. Some pools are multi-reward pools, meaning you can earn multiple types of tokens for providing liquidity!

ShadeSwap includes three unique pool types:

• StableSwap

• DerivativeSwap

• Constant Product

StableSwaps involve pools that consist only of stablecoins. DerivativeSwaps consist of pools that have a layer-1 token and a corresponding staking derivative (an example would be ATOM / stATOM). Finally, Constant Product pools are traditional pools that traditionally involves a volatile asset on at least one side of the pool pairing (SILK/OSMO).

On the ShadeSwap dashboard interface, users will be able to examine the following statistics tied to the traded tokens:

• Price

• Price Change (24H)

• Volume (24H)

• Volume Change (24H)

• Liquidity

In addition to these stats, users can also view total ShadeSwap volume and liquidity.

Pairs

Please note that a variety of supported pairs are contingent upon the launch of Silk - the flagship stablecoin of Shade Protocol. Silk is slated to launch after ShadeSwap pools and liquidity are stable - ensuring user stories are operating smoothly.

As Shade Protocol governance evolves in 2023, reward distribution governance will be transitioned over to governance and assemblies.
